This is super fun idea from many Maine weddings that we were a part of this past season. It is the perfect way to end an evening. It works great at venues that have indoor fireplaces such as Cliffside Lodge or outdoor fireplaces at venues such as Kingsley Pines.
We were part of a very special wedding at the Cliffside Lodge in Poland Spring, ME. The bride and groom chose the Lodge because it reminded them of their family camp in northern Maine.
The bride’s father handcrafted the birch candlestick centerpieces from logs found on their family camp.
The management of Camp North Star wanted to create an extra special evening to show their appreciation for all the hard work their staff put in for the season. Belle Fete worked closely with the owners to create a continental menu that would please the palates of a staff that came from literally every continent on [...] This was a very special party that was put together by the bride & groom to celebrate their marriage which took place before the groom’s deployment to Iraq.
