Cliffside Lodge Appreciation Dinner

 The management of Camp North Star wanted to create an extra special evening to show their appreciation for all the hard work their staff put in for the season.

Belle Fete worked closely with the owners to create a continental menu that would please the palates of a staff that came from literally every continent on the globe!!

The clients were young and metropolitan, so we chose to go with bright colors and clean lines for our decor.
With the “Around the World” theme in mind we created the following menu:
Stationary Appetizer
Bruschetta Bar – A beautiful presenation of the following dips served with crackers, pita chips and crostini: roasted red pepper hummus, garlic herb boursin, artichoke and spinach crème and classic tomato brushetta

Passed Appetizers
Brie Stuffed Strawberries
Black Bean and Pineapple Quesadilla
Lemongrass Soup Shots

National Audubon Society Dinner

Audobon Table 

 The National Audubon Society held it’s annual conference this year at Maine’s own Gilsland Farm in Falmouth.  In keeping with Aububon’s commitment to the environment they wanted an all vegetarian menu that highlighted local products.

 Audubon Tent 

We took advantage of all of the fresh produce available at the time and created the following menu.

Passed Appetizers

 Herb boursin stuffed pea pods

 Gazpacho soup shots

 Basil and sundried tomato stuffed mushrooms

 Buffet Dinner

 Summer Ratatouille

Fresh vegetables simmered in white wine served in eggplant

 Roasted Vegetables in Phyllo

Balsamic roasted vegetables with local goat cheese wrapped in phyllo

 Quinoa with toasted almonds

 Garden Salad

The Refuge Auction & Cocktail Party

The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland introduced their newest fundraising event, The Refuge, on Wednesday, June 3 at The Portland Company. The silent auction and cocktail party gained proceeds that will aid the shelter’s many annual medical expenses. Radio’s Lori Voornas hosted the event, music was supplied by local dj Jason Hjort, and caterer Belle Fête and Whole Foods provided the impressive spread.
