Cliffside Lodge in Poland, Maine was the perfect setting for an amazing couple. They chose the lodge because of it’s elegant yet rustic feel. The bride who is a visual artist had a definite vision for how she wanted her wedding to look. The couple wanted their day to have a vintage 20’s feel. The groom and his friends wore 20’s inspired suits with fedoras. The bride’s lace dress completed the look.
The bride wanted to highlight the fall colors that surrounded the lodge. She used bright fall colors in her personal flowers as well as on the tables.
The bride who is a vegetarian wanted to highlight seasonal fall ingredients and feature vegetarian items as well as more traditional fall fare.

Belle Fete was a part of an amazing wedding that took place at the Bride’s family club in Pemaquid. Not too long after we began planning her reception, the couple moved to Zurich Switzerland, where the Groom hails from. There was no doubt in the Bride’s mind that she wanted her reception held in a place that meant so much to her.
She wanted to create a menu that incorporated Maine and Swiss cuisine. We had alot of fun coming with a menu that fit the bill…..
For the look of her reception, she wanted a elegant but rustic look. Her tables were covered in ivory linen, lined with a burlap and sage green runner. Emily Carter used antique silver containers to create romantic centerpieces where no two were alike. The ceremony took place on the rocks where the Bride’s father brought the Bride over by boat. After the ceremony, the guests crossed the street to the clubhouse where cocktails and appetizers were had on the porch. The Bob Charest Band got everyone dancing long into the night.

Belle Fete was part of a very special wedding that took place at The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay. The ceremony was held in the wood glen above the event lawn and the reception took place inside Kerr Hall.
Hot pink and orange were the wedding colors and were really fun. Gerber daisies completed the look. Cocktails and dancing took place outside of Kerr Hall under a tent in the main garden.

I want to thank you and everyone on the staff for making C&N’s wedding such a wonderful occasion. The food was wonderful, and the service was just great.
