Organic Columbian
The producers of our Organic Columbian beans, concerned about nature and the environment, have obtained BioLatina certification after more than three years of effort. During this period, measures including no-chemical utilization during production and the implementation of an ornithological program to guarantee native and migratory bird protection, have been adopted.
The beans are planted with banana and a variety of different shade trees, to provide food and habitat to native and migratory birds in the coffee plantation, working as an effective control against plague and insects.
Costa Rican
Our Costa Rican beans are sourced from the Tres Rios region, which has a long tradition of producing high quality coffee. It is SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) which indicates coffee grown above an altitude of 3900 feet. These are produced by a family business that has known and loved coffee and the land since birth. This honor of their land and country have led them to respect and protect the environment and use sustainable growing practices.
